NautaDutilh offers high-end notarial services, both advisory and transactional, through its multi-disciplinary notarial team.

Our (deputy) civil-law notaries specialise in corporate law, real estate and financing, including ship finance and aviation finance. Notarial law today forms a vital part of NautaDutilh’s practice and roots back to 1724 when civil-law notary Schadee established his own notarial practice and became the founder of what today is NautaDutilh. Our notarial team acts both on a stand-alone basis and in multi-disciplinary teams with other groups within our firm, cooperating seamlessly.

The team specialises in:

  • Corporate law

Our notarial corporate law practice revolves around (cross-border) corporate structuring, M&A transactions (strategic, private equity (including management and employee participations), venture capital, public and private), joint ventures, capital market transactions and corporate advisory service to public and private companies on a wide range of (corporate governance) matters.

  • Real estate

Our notarial real estate practice has a focus on advising clients on i.e. real estate transactions and financing, project development, division in apartment rights, rights in rem and multiple ground use and other real estate-related contracts. Aside from real estate transactions, financing and complex multiple ground use, our team is specialised in the property law aspects of (renewable) energy, such as the structuring of cables and pipelines, solar installations and hydrogen projects.

  • Finance

The notarial finance practice cooperates and supports the finance group and at the same time is specialised in ship finance and aviation finance with a long-standing track record in sale and purchase, lease and finance transactions in that field.
