Romy Akkermans

Romy Akkermans is a senior associate in NautaDutilh’s Employment & Pensions team. She advises (multi)national companies and financial institutions on a broad range of employment matters, with a particular focus on co-determination, reorganisations, and individual dismissals.

Romy also has in-depth experience in complex pension law issues, including indexation disputes and amendments to pension schemes in the context of the Dutch Future Pensions Act. In addition, she litigates on various employment and pension matters and regularly advises on employment and pension aspects of (de)mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining NautaDutilh in 2026, Romy worked at leading (inter)national law firms for over seven years.
