Mark den Bleijker is a senior associate in NautaDutilh’s Banking & Finance team, with a particular focus on real estate finance.
He advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of complex financing transactions, including project finance and acquisition finance. Mark regularly acts for leading banks, financial institutions, and corporates, providing pragmatic, commercially driven advice across the full spectrum of lending structures. His work is characterised by a deep understanding of the real estate sector and a hands-on approach to deal execution.

Work highlights
- Assisting ING Real Estate and Woonhave with the EUR 325 million refinancing in relation to a portfolio of 2,000 residential properties owned by Woonhave N.V., the Rotterdam-based property management company.
- Assisting ING and Rabobank in connection with the EUR 245 million sustainability-linked term loan financing of the acquisition of a portfolio of 3,000 residential properties by a consortium led by TPG–Angelo Gordon, Dream and Stadium Capital, with European Residential REIT as seller.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders regarding the Gate Tank 4 project, the expansion of Gate Terminal’s storage and regasification capacity in the Rotterdam harbour. The expansion consists of a new LNG storage tank of 180,000 cubic metres and additional regasification capacity of 4 BCM per year. The new capacity is already rented out under long-term commercial agreements and is expected to be ready for operation by the second half of 2026.

Qualifications
Mark holds master's degrees in Corporate Law and Financial Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He joined NautaDutilh in 2014.
