Annemarie Bloemen-Patberg is a counsel in our Benelux Data Protection Team and specializes in legal issues around data protection and privacy.
Since 2006, Annemarie has been working in the field of data protection and privacy law.
Annemarie advises her clients on compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and supports her clients with their privacy strategies, GDPR implementation programs and procedures and assists them with performing their data protection impact assessments. Annemarie also advises on matters related to e-privacy, specifically in the field of digital marketing.
One of Annemarie's other specialisms is advising on the implementation of Binding Corporate Rules, in which she has been intensively involved for a number of her clients.
Annemarie received her law degree from the Universiteit Leiden (2004), having studied also at Boston University School of Law. Annemarie regularly lectures on data protection or e-privacy law related matters and is an examiner for a Dutch certified data protection officer program.
Before joining NautaDutilh, Annemarie worked at a niche firm for privacy and technology. She started her career at another law firm and gained in-house experience at the Global Privacy Team of Royal Philips.
