  • Ancillary functions

    Jeroen is an active member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the Dutch Society for Pharmaceutical Law and the International Trademark Association (INTA). Currently, he is the Dutch delegate of AIPPI's Biotechnology committee. He is also a member of EPLAW, the European Patent Lawyer's Association. Jeroen is a guest lecturer at the University of Groningen and the Academy for the Professional Education of Patent Attorneys.

  • Publications

    Jeroen regularly publishes on intellectual property related topics. In 2019, he was the winner of the Dutch AIPPI award for his publication on patent priority rights, which is awarded each year for best publication in the field of intellectual property law for an author younger than 36 years. He is a co-author of the main Dutch academic handbook on intellectual property (Kort Begrip). He also is a member of the editorial board of the EPLAW Patent Blog.

    Jeroen graduated from the University of Groningen in 2012 with highest honors.
