Jeroen Boelens specialises in intellectual property law. His work includes both contentious and non-contentious matters and he has a particular focus on patent law, trademark law and pharmaceutical law. Jeroen is a member of NautaDutilh's Life Sciences industry team and he often represents clients in the life sciences industry.
Jeroen's recent cases include litigation for pharmaceutical companies (ranging from big pharma to smaller companies) and medical devices companies in (mostly) patent and trademark matters. On the non-contentious side, Jeroen was part of the team working on a number of high profile life sciences transactions such as Dezima Pharma B.V.'s USD 1.5 billion acquisition by Amgen Inc.
Jeroen is an active member of various associations including the Dutch Society for Pharmaceutical Law (Vereniging voor Farma en Recht), the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). Jeroen is a member of AIPPI's Biotechnology committee. He furthermore regularly publishes on intellectual property related topics.
Jeroen obtained his master's degree in law (cum laude) from the University of Groningen in 2012 and joined NautaDutilh that same year.
