Nicolas Bonora is a counsel in our Banking & Finance practice. He specialises in secured lending, restructuring and debt capital markets transactions.
Nicolas has extensive experience in the area of syndicated credit facilities involving Luxembourg borrowers and/or guarantors. He is also a skilled advisor on high-yield debt issuances, securitisation transactions and fund finance. He assists clients with a wide range of complex multi-jurisdictional financing issues, pertaining to real estate, general loan, acquisition and asset finance.

Prior to joining NautaDutilh, Nicolas worked at another well-known Luxembourg law firm. In 2019, he spent ten months at our New York office, where he advised clients on the Luxembourg legal aspects of US-originated finance transactions.
Nicolas holds a master's degree in business law (maîtrise en droit des affaires) and a postgraduate degree in banking and financial law (master II en droit bancaire et financier) from the University of Strasbourg.
Nicolas has published various articles on insolvency proceedings and secured lending.
He was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2008.
Nicolas is fluent in French and English.
