Maarten has acted as the external legal advisor to the Dutch Monitoring Committee Corporate Governance Code. His practice focuses on complex governance and structuring work for domestic and international public and private companies, including large family-owned businesses.

Qualifications
Maarten lectures at the Erasmus Governance Institute post-graduate course for supervisory board members. He graduated from Utrecht University with honors in 2007 (notarial law) and joined NautaDutilh in the same year. In 2006, he received his LLB in notarial law and LLB in taxation from the same university.
