Göktug is an associate in our Corporate M&A practice and has a strong background in Corporate and M&A, Equity and Debt Capital Markets, and regulatory services.
Before joining the firm, he worked as a legal counsel at a major financial institution, advising on complex financial transactions and regulatory matters. He now advises clients on a broad range of corporate and capital markets issues, combining practical experience with a solid academic founda-tion. Alongside his professional practice, Göktug is actively involved in legal research, continuously deepening his expertise in corporate and financial law.

Ancillary functions
Besides his work as a lawyer, Göktug remains committed to academic research. Since January 2025, he has been a Research Assistant at the Instituut voor Filosofische en Sociaalwetenschappelijke Educatie (IFESE), focusing on Corporate (M&A) and Banking and Finance topics.

Qualifications
Göktug completed a Master’s degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (2023) as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Universiteit Hasselt (2020).
