Lia Champoeva specialises in public law, particularly environmental, energy and urban planning law. She also practices real estate and tax law.
Lia received her law degree from the University of Brussels (ULB) in 2009, together with a LL.M. in European law from the Institute for European Studies (IEE-ULB) in 2010. She also received a Master degree in Tax law from Solvay Business School in 2017. She was admitted to the Brussels Bar in February 2012.
Prior to joining NautaDutilh in 2017, Lia worked for 6 years in a Brussels based law firm. She also worked for the EC (European Commission) and two EU consultancies.
Lia lectures on administrative, urban planning and environmental law at the Institute for Urban Planning (ISURU).
She has published several articles and reports in her field of expertise.
