Samantha Gernat is a member of the Dispute Resolution department in the Amsterdam office. She advises and litigates on matters relating to corporate law, commercial law and insolvency.
Previously, Samantha was engaged with the practice group Corporate M&A in Rotterdam, where she specialized in corporate law and advised Dutch and international clients on cross-border transactions.
Samantha is a German national and speaks German as well as Dutch and English fluently.
Samantha graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2017, where she obtained a master's degree in Dutch private and commercial law (cum laude). During her bachelor's degree at Maastricht University, she participated in an exchange to the University of Nice in France. Samantha also obtained master's degree in European legal studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
Samantha previously interned with the European Commission in Brussels. She joined NautaDutilh in 2017 and is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar.
