Simon Hellendall is a member of the Dispute Resolution practice group. He advises and litigates on behalf of both domestic and international clients in a wide range of commercial and contractual matters. He also has a keen interest in cases with a societal dimension, such as ESG-related disputes and climate litigation.

Previously, Simon was a member of the Corporate / M&A practice group, where he was involved in various (international) transactions and advised on corporate governance matters.

  • Qualifications

    Simon studied at Leiden Law School, where he obtained an L.L.M. (summa cum laude) in Jurisprudence and Legal Philosophy and an L.L.M. (cum laude) in private law. During his bachelor’s degree, Simon studied a semester at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

    Simon is working on a doctoral thesis at the Department of Legal Philosophy at Leiden University on the philosophy of Philo and Maimonides.

    Simon joined NautaDutilh in 2023. He is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar.
