Shauny Japhary is a lawyer within the Real Estate & Infrastructure practice group. 

She specialises in commercial property transactions and advises (institutional) investors, multinationals and developers on acquisitions, sales, property law issues, lease agreements, asset management and property developments in the Netherlands. She is regularly involved in due diligence investigations and transaction negotiations and is also frequently involved in property-related disputes. 

Her detailed knowledge of real estate transactions, developments and real estate disputes gives Shauny a rounded picture of the market. She thinks carefully about each client's specific business position and creates strategic legal solutions to suit. 

Shauny completed her Master's degree in Civil Law at Leiden University in 2017. She has been a lawyer since 2017. Shauny has worked at NautaDutilh since August 2021. Prior to that, she worked at Simmons & Simmons LLP.
