Kees Koetsier has a broad transaction-based practice focusing on commercial real estate, structuring and financing of real estate funds and corporations as well as on aircraft finance. He advises on Dutch contract law, property law and corporate law aspects of the sale, purchase, financing and structuring of Dutch real estate and Dutch registered aircraft.

- Advised Achmea Dutch Retail Property Fund on the acquisition of two retail portfolios from two Dutch pension funds in exchange for participations in Achmea Dutch Retail Property Fund.
- Advised CBRE IM on the refinancing of the Dutch Residential Fund.
- Advised two insurance companies of ERGO Group AG, one of Germany's biggest insurers, on the refinancing of the Maas Tower in Rotterdam.
- Assisted Aareal Bank, ABN and Rabobank in connection with the (re)financing of a portfolio of high-quality 12 new-built fully let smartlog assets in the Netherlands of in total 515k sqm.

Qualifications
Kees joined NautaDutilh in 1994 and became partner and civil law notary in 2002. He graduated from Leiden University in 1993.
Next to being a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association, Kees is registered as a foreign legal consultant with the New York State Bar. From 2004 until 2011 he headed the firm's corporate practice in the New York office.
