Ernst van de Luijtgaarden works as an attorney-at-law and is engaged with the practice group Corporate (Mergers and Acquisitions) at the Rotterdam office. Ernst is involved in international and national corporate transactions and advises (corporate) clients on a variety of corporate matters, among which he assists with due diligence investigations, the drafting of commercial contracts as well as advising on corporate governance matters.

Previously, Ernst was a member of the Litigation & Arbitration team where he advised and litigated for both national and international clients on matters relating to corporate and commercial law.

Ernst studied Civil law at Leiden University. He also studied a semester at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg. Ernst signed with NautaDutilh in 2017 and is admitted to the Rotterdam Bar.
