Sanne Machiels works in the Banking & Finance practice group, in the focus group Financial Services, Derivatives and Regulatory. Previously Sanne worked as legal counsel for a credit card company and as a lawyer at an international law firm. Sanne advises national and international financial institutions such as banks, payment institutions, electronic money issuers and consumer credit providers on financial supervisory law in particular. 
 
Sanne graduated from the University of Groningen in 2010. In 2021 she completed the specialisation course in Financial Law at the Grotius Academy with honors (cum laude).  
 
Sanne joined NautaDutilh in 2022 and is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar.
