Juliëtte Niersman is an associate in the Employment law practice group. She specializes in employment law and litigates and advises on a wide range of employment law issues, such as reorganizations, employee consultation rights, individual and collective dismissal and incapacity for work. With regard to these subjects, she advises and litigates for both employers and employees.
Previously, Juliëtte was part of the Litigation & Arbitration practice group, where she specialised in international commercial and investment arbitration, as well as arbitration-related court proceedings.
Juliëtte graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam in 2015 with a masters in Dutch Private Law. She also studied at the University of Toronto. Juliette is involved in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition with the University of Amsterdam team and acts as an arbitrator during this competition. Juliëtte is a member of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute association for Young Arbitration Practitioners ("NAI Jong Oranje") and the Vereniging Jong Arbeidsrecht Advocaten ("VJAA"). She joined NautaDutilh in 2015 and is admitted to the Amsterdam bar.
