Ruben Rekers works as an attorney-at-law and is engaged with the practice group Corporate (Mergers and Acquisitions). Ruben is involved in international and national corporate transactions and advises (corporate) clients on a variety of corporate matters, with a focus on private equity, venture capital, family-owned business and other corporate clients.
Previously, Ruben was part of the Litigation & Arbitration team, where he advised and litigated for both national and international clients on matters relating to corporate and commercial, including post-M&A disputes.

Qualifications
Ruben studied at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he obtained a master's degree in Company Law (cum laude) and a master's degree in Financial Economics (cum laude) in 2019. During his bachelors Law, Economics and Business Economics, and Tax Economics, he also studied for one semester at the Essex Law School, University of Essex (England).
Ruben obtained a post-graduate specialisation degree in mergers and acquisitions (cum laude) at the VU Amsterdam in 2024.
In 2019, Ruben joined NautaDutilh and he is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar. In 2025, he worked from the office in New York.
