She is widely regarded in the energy market as an astute and resourceful legal professional, with an impressive record in managing intricate carve-out transactions and strategic investments.

    Lisa has acted as lead lawyer in all major transformative energy transactions handled by the firm in recent years. Notably, she advised the Dutch Ministry of Finance in its pioneering sector agreement with the national grid operators—Alliander, Enexis and Stedin—regarding future State involvement in the grid, bolstering the energy transition through the reinforcement of the electricity infrastructure. Her experience includes the acquisition of the State’s equity in grid operator Stedin, numerous carve-out transactions stemming from her longstanding association with nuclear power plant shareholder ZEH—such as the divestment of wholesale operations, the ZBL pipeline and Sloe Power Plant—and advising Circle Infra Partners at Chemelot and its shareholders on the sale of Circle to Basalt Infrastructure Partners.

  • Qualifications

    Lisa received her LL.M. at Leiden University in 2010. Prior to obtaining her LL.M., she participated in an exchange program at the Law School of Trinity College Dublin. She received her Bachelor's degree at Leiden University.

    Lisa is admitted to the Rotterdam Bar and is fluent in Dutch and English.
