Lisette Simons is a senior associate in the Financial Law group of NautaDutilh. She advises financial institutions such as banks, payment service providers, trading platforms and investment funds and fintechs on financial regulatory law, contract law and securities law. Lisette also advises on current and future implications of Dutch and European law, in relation to both existing businesses and the development of new financial products and services.
Lisette previously worked in NautaDutilh's Corporate M&A group, where she advised Dutch and international clients on national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Lisette also worked at NautaDutilh's New York office where she advised on international financing transactions.
Lisette graduated from Utrecht University in 2015, where she obtained a master's degree in Business Law (cum laude) and a master's degree in European Law (cum laude). Lisette joined NautaDutilh in 2015. She is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar and is fluent in Dutch and English.
