Laurens Spelten is a member of NautaDutilh’s Finance practice group in New York. He advises financial institutions and corporations on cross-border financing transactions. Laurens started in the Financial Law group, where he advised international companies and financial institutions such as banks, (re)insurers, investment firms and investment funds on issues of financial (regulatory) law, contract law and securities law.

He obtained a master's degree in Financial Law (cum laude) from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master's degree in Private Law with specialisation in Corporate Law from the University of Amsterdam.

He joined NautaDutilh in 2023 and he is admitted to the Bar in Amsterdam.
