Jasha Sprecher is Partner in the Financial Law department of NautaDutilh, which is consistently ranked as tier 1 by Chambers Europe in 2013 - 2018 and by Legal500 in 2016 - 2018. He advises financial institutions and fintechs such as banks, payment service providers, trading platforms and investment funds on financial regulatory law, contract law and securities law.

From August 2012 through October 2013, Jasha worked at NautaDutilh's New York office where he advised on domestic and international financing transactions.

  • Financial Regulatory Law

    Jasha regularly publishes on subjects relating to financial regulatory law, such as MiFID II and AIFMD. He is co-author of two editions of a book outlining the Netherlands Financial Supervision Act (Hoofdlijnen Wft) which is relied upon by industry experts and Dutch universities as an authority in Dutch regulatory law.

  • Qualifications

    Jasha received his LLM in Corporate & Commercial Law from the honors program at the University of Amsterdam in 2009. Prior to obtaining his LLM, he participated in an exchange program, focused on US related corporate and tort law, at Columbia University Law School. He received his Bachelor's degree at the University of Amsterdam. Jasha is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar and is fluent in Dutch and English.
