Yvette Steeg-Tijms specializes in financial litigation, with a focus on defending complex litigation and class actions relating to securities, financial services, prospectus liability, financial regulations, professional liability of accountants and follow-on cartel damages claims. She also has experience in international arbitrations and corporate and commercial litigation before district courts, courts of appeal and the Supreme Court.
From 2010 to 2012, Yvette worked at NautaDutilh's New York office, where she specialized in international finance transactions with a focus on loan finance.
Yvette graduated from the University of Groningen in 2006 with highest honors. In 2007 she worked as a lecturer and researcher with the corporate and securities law department of Rotterdam University. Before joining NautaDutilh in 2010, she practised law at another major Dutch law firm.
