Gisèle Uwera specialises in litigation and arbitration, with a special focus on commercial, corporate and real estate disputes. She also assists national and international clients in arbitration-related court proceedings.
In addition, Gisèle also assists companies in their restructuring and has experience in insolvency law.
She is a member of CEPANI40 (Belgian Centre for Arbitration and Mediation) and the Belgium Turnaround Association (BeTa), the membership body for turnaround and restructuring professionals in Belgium.
Gisèle graduated from the UCLouvain in 2014, after having studied in Canada for one semester that same year. In 2015, she obtained an LL.M in International Law at Leiden University (The Netherlands).
She joined our Litigation, Arbitration & Insolvency practice in 2018, after having worked three years in Brussels at another law firm.
Gisèle speaks French, Dutch and English.
