Ruben Vermang is a partner in our Real Estate and Infrastructure team. He advises investors, sponsors, lenders and contractors on the full spectrum of real estate and infrastructure matters, with a particular focus on corporate real estate transactions, construction and real estate litigation, development projects, property and asset management, and PPP infrastructure projects. Ruben is known for his proactive approach, swift and clear feedback, and his ability to anticipate client needs. He regularly acts on both domestic and cross-border transactions. With significant deal experience and a reputation for unwavering commitment to his clients, Ruben is recognised as a rising star in his field.

- Assisting Patrizia KvG with the acquisition of the Athora portfolio (including The Louise) and subsequent redevelopment of The Louise
- Assisting Patrizia KvG with the sale of the Souverain building and Triomphe building in Brussels
- Assisting Patrizia KvG with the sale of a logistic centre in Wommelgem
- Assisting Patrizia KvG with the acquisition of the Escape shopping centre from MG in Luxembourg
- Assisting Whitewood with the acquisition of the Northlight and Polestar building in Brussels and the subsequent negotiation of a usufruct agreement with the European Union for these buildings
- Assisting Kolmont with the acquisition of the Montgomery building and the subsequent negotiation of a usufruct agreement with the European Union for this building
- Assisting Accor hotels with the transfer of seven hotels in Belgium to the Covivio group
- Assisting the Numa Group with the acquisition and opening of two hotels in Brussels
- Assisting the Regie der Gebouwen with multiple DBFM projects (Prison Haren, Prison Antwerp, and others);
- Assisting Willemen and Democo with the development of the DBF project for the Local Police in Oostende.

Qualifications
Ruben graduated from Universiteit Gent with a Master of Laws and obtained an LL.M. from Vanderbilt Law School. He is admitted to the bar in Belgium and is fluent in Dutch, English and French. Ruben joined NautaDutilh in 2026 after many years at a Magic Circle firm and is a member of the Dutch-speaking Brussels Bar.
