

Christine Vreede Counsel
Christine Vreede has been working as a lawyer since 2006 and specialises in insurance and commercial contracts and the legal prevention of risk and liability.
She has extensive knowledge and experience in drafting and litigation regarding commercial contracts (international sale, procurement contracts, commercial agency, distribution and franchising). Key element within Christine's practice is the chemical sector. She focuses on contractual aspects such as making (existing) agreements ESG compliant and with respect to the development and implementation of hydrogen in the energy chain. Her practice also includes advising and litigating in complex disputes concerning investment insurance and duty of care. In addition, she has in-house experience with a large insurance company.
Christine graduated cum laude from Leiden University (2006) in civil law and international & European law. She also studied at the Institut D'Etudes Politiques de Paris (2004) and at the University of Amsterdam (Information Law, 2013).
In Leiden she lectured during her studies the course Introduction to Civil Law. She regularly teaches and publishes on contract law.
