Heidi Waem specialises in privacy, intellectual property, market practices and e-commerce.

Heidi graduated from the University of Antwerp in 2009 and was admitted to the Brussels Bar that same year. She joined NautaDutilh in 2014, after gaining valuable experience at several other reputable law firms.

Heidi has experience in both litigation and non-contentious matters. Her litigation experience includes disputes relating to trademarks, designs and copyright as well as libel cases. As far as non-contentious matters are concerned, Heidi has extensive experience in drafting licence and other commercial contracts. Also, she advises businesses on compliance with privacy laws, the protection of their trade secrets and intellectual property.

Heidi is a native Dutch speaker. She also speaks French, English, Italian, Greek and German.

Heidi serves on the editorial board of the IE-Forum.be, a website which publishes on a daily basis information and case-law on intellectual property.
