Roderick works in the Financial Law Team of NautaDutilh. The team has consistently received Tier-1 rankings of Chambers Europe and Legal500 in the past decade, and assists clients throughout the financial sector, including banks, insurance companies, investment fund managers, investment firms, payment institutions, e-money institutions, financial services providers and FinTechs.

Roderick advises on a broad range of regulatory topics and has vast experience in approval processes with financial regulators. He assists banks, insurers, credit providers, fund managers and payment service providers with ongoing regulatory and AML-related matters. Roderick is often involved in M&A transactions in the financial sector.

In 2018, Roderick was a co-author of a book on the Headlines of the Netherlands Financial Supervision Act (Hoofdlijnen Wft), including fund regulation, which is relied upon by industry experts as an authority in Dutch regulatory law.

  • Qualifications

    Roderick obtained his LL.M in civil law from Leiden University in 2009. In 2015 Roderick took part in the specialisation course Securities law of the Grotius Academy; he graduated with honours. He is admitted to the Bar in Amsterdam.
