Floor Wijffels is a member of the Litigation and Arbitration team at the Rotterdam office. Floor advises clients on various contractual and commercial disputes, both national and international. She represents clients in (international) commercial and investor-state arbitration and complex court proceedings concerning the enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards. Furthermore, Floor specializes in corporate litigation. This includes amongst others joint venture disputes and disputes between shareholders, as well as directors' and supervisory directors' liability.
Floor earned her B.A. and LL.M. in Private Law (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam in 2018. During her studies, Floor spent a semester at Fordham University School of Law in New York City. Floor joined NautaDutilh in 2018 and was based in the New York office from September 2018 through September 2019, where she handled cross-border matters involving Dutch corporate law and Dutch law aspects of international finance transactions.
NevFurthermore, Floor co-coached the team of the University of Pretoria in the 2020-2021 Willem C Vis Moot Court, as part of the “Africa in the moot” initiative. She was a participant in the Willem C Vis in 2015-2016 herself. Floor also works as an editor for Boom Juridisch, Corporate Law Updates (OR Updates).
Floor is admitted to the Amsterdam bar (2019).
