Lin Xu currently works as a Dutch lawyer in the Litigation & Arbitration practice group at NautaDutilh where she develops herself (with a genuine interest) in the field of Dutch procedural law.
Since early 2012, Lin has been practising law in Dutch law firms in the fields of corporate law, FDI, M&A transactions and international contracts. She has a wide network among Chinese law firms and has developed an outstanding reputation in the Chinese community in the Netherlands through various projects where Chinese companies and organisations (all levels) invested in/via the Netherlands.
Lin is the first and (currently) the only Chinese native speaker in the Netherlands dually admitted to the Chinese Bar (2011, non-active status) and the Dutch Bar (2018). While working on a full-time basis, Lin obtained a LL.M. in European and International Business Law from Leiden University in 2012 and a LL.B. in Dutch Law from VU Amsterdam in 2017.
