Nicolas Bonora is a counsel in our Banking & Finance practice, specialized in secured lending, restructurings and debt capital markets transactions.
Nicolas has a broad experience as Luxembourg counsel on (i) both the borrower side and the lending side of syndicated credit facilities with Luxembourg borrowers and/or Luxembourg guarantors and (ii) as Luxembourg adviser on high yield debt issuance. He assists clients on a broad range of complex multi-jurisdictional financings, including real estate finance, general loan finance, acquisition finance and asset finance.
His experience also includes securitisation transactions and fund finance. He mainly advises and represents global financial institutions and private equity houses
Prior to joining NautaDutilh, Nicolas worked at another renowned Luxembourg law firm. In 2019, he spent ten months in our New York office where he advised clients on the Luxembourg law aspects of U.S. originated finance transactions.
Nicolas holds a Master degree in Business Law (Maîtrise en Droit des affaires) from the University of Strasbourg (France, 2006) and obtained a postgraduate degree in Banking and Financial Law (Master II en Droit bancaire et financier) from the same university (2007).
Nicolas has published various articles on insolvency proceedings and secured lending.
Nicolas was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2008.
Nicolas is fluent in French and English.
