Frans Overkleeft Associé

Frans Overkleeft is a senior associate in the Corporate Litigation department. He advises and litigates on behalf of national and international clients on a wide range of corporate law issues. He primarily focuses on corporate disputes such as transaction-related litigation, disputes between shareholders and director liability cases. Frans also advises on matters relating to corporate governance, corporate structuring and joint ventures.

Frans has also gained extensive experience as an M&A-lawyer within NautaDutilh. In that capacity, he has worked on various national- and cross border takeovers of both listed companies (e.g. public offers) as well as privately-held companies.

Frans graduated from Tilburg Unviersity in 2005 with a degree in Dutch law and received an LL.M.-degree from the University of Minnesota in 2006. He also studied at the Ruprecht-Karls Universität in Heidelberg, Germany for one year. Frans joined NautaDutilh in December 2006. Between 2007 and 2011, he combined his practice at NautaDutilh with a part-time position as lecturer in Tilburg University's Business Law department where he taught a variety of courses in the field of business and corporate law at both undergraduate- as well as graduate level. Frans is a regular contributor to various Dutch legal periodicals.
