Mateusz Wiśniewski is a senior associate in our Banking and Finance Department.

In that capacity, he assists clients on all kinds of finance matters, and his experience encompasses drafting of finance documentation, legal opinions and memoranda and preparing legal analyses in the field of banking and finance. Mateusz also participates in supervising fulfilment of conditions precedent and negotiation of finance documentation. He has participated in both real estate and corporate financing transactions and his experience also includes debt restructuring transactions and refinancings.

Prior to joining NautaDutilh, Mateusz has been working in the law environment for several years including local and International leading law firms in Poland.  In 2020 and 2021, he was seconded at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg where he advised on various types of finance transactions (project finance, corporate lending and SME loans).

Mateusz holds a Master of Laws from the University of Warsaw (Poland), a diploma from the British Centre for English and European Law, passed with merit from the University of Warsaw (Poland) and he also participated in the German and European Law Course organised by the German Law School from the University of Warsaw.

Mateusz is a native Polish speaker and he also speaks English and German.
