Deal or Case news
05.05.2026
This capital raise follows NautaDutilh's assistance with the offering in late 2025 and again makes use of one of the key innovations introduced by the EU Listing Act: the ability to publish a short-form information document instead of a traditional prospectus. The transaction serves as a notable example of the Listing Act in action, demonstrating how the reduced disclosure requirements enable listed companies to access the capital markets more swiftly and efficiently.
The deal further cements NautaDutilh's role as ONWARD Medical's trusted legal adviser, our firm having assisted the company across all of its capital raises and its initial public offering.
Paul van der Bijl

ONWARD Medical is a global leader in neurotechnology, advancing groundbreaking therapies to help people with spinal cord injuries and other mobility impairments regain movement, function and independence. The funds from this offering will be allocated towards advancing the ARC-IM System, which stabilizes blood pressure of people with spinal cord injuries, and the funds will also be used for expansion of sales of the ARC-EX spinal cord stimulation platform in the U.S., Europe, and other markets.

The company is listed on Euronext Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris, allowing NautaDutilh to advise on matters of both Dutch and Belgian law. The NautaDutilh team acted alongside Skadden and consisted of Paul van der Bijl. Daan Hagelstein, Lentle Nijs and Brian Cuijpers.
