David den Blaauwen

David den Blaauwen works in the Financial Law group of NautaDutilh. He advises international companies and financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, clearing houses, pension funds and investment funds on issues of financial regulatory law, contract law and securities law. David also advises on current and future implications of Dutch and European law, in relation to both existing businesses and the development of new financial products and services.
David was based in NautaDutilh's New York office from September 2019 through August 2020, where he advised clients in cross-border matters involving Dutch corporate law and Dutch law aspects of international finance transactions.

Education: Master Civil Law (cum laude) Leiden University
David studied at Leiden University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Dutch law (specialisation Economics) in 2017 and a master's degree in Private Law in 2019 (both cum laude). During his master's, David also studied at Boston University School of Law for a semester. In 2019 he joined NautaDutilh.
