Liza Gerritsen
Expertise
Liza works with financing structures backed by assets such as mortgages, consumer loans, buy-to-let mortgages and SME loans. She focuses on the consumer finance practice and acts for lenders, investors and platform entrants. She is involved in setting up mortgage and loan platforms for banks and non-banks, and assists in STS and non-STS securitisations and secured funding transactions.
Liza is an active member of the legal working group of the Dutch Securitisation Association (DSA), that aims to enhance transparency and reduce complexity of Dutch securitisation transactions.

Liza studied at the universities of Nijmegen, Amsterdam and Barcelona. She graduated from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen in European and Dutch law in 2003. She graduated from the Grotius Academy (Financiering & Zekerheden) (with honours) in 2009.Other
Liza regularly lectures on the topic of securitisations and other structured finance transactions at the Grotius academy as part of the Finance and Security Rights specialisation course.
