Barbara Slooter is part of the Dispute Resolution practice group and a member of NautaDutilh’s Restructuring, Insolvency & Distressed Situations team. She specialises in restructurings, insolvency matters and distressed situations, including distressed M&A. Barbara advises and assists companies in financial distress, banks, (strategic) investors and other stakeholders in distressed settings, often with a cross-border dimension.
She has experience advising directors on their responsibilities in times of financial difficulty, (enforcement) transactions in a distressed context and guiding restructuring processes, including through the Dutch WHOA proceedings.

Qualifications
Barbara graduated cum laude from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2016 with a master’s degree in Corporate Law. Before joining NautaDutilh in 2022, she worked as a lawyer at a leading international law firm in Amsterdam.
