Julie Wassenberg

Julie Wassenberg works in the department Banking & Finance and is a member of NautaDutilh's Structured Finance team. Julie's practice focuses on structured finance, including covered bonds, securitisations and other asset based transactions and capital market transactions. Previously, Julie was part of the Dispute Resolution team.
She worked with and acted, among others, for NIBC Bank, MeDirect Bank and Nationale-Nederlanden Bank in setting up securitisations. She was also involved in the setting up and updating of covered bond programs of Nationale-Nederlanden Bank, Rabobank, de Volksbank, NIBC Bank, Achmea Bank, Knab and Van Lanschot Kempen.
Julie joined NautaDutilh in January 2018. Before joining NautaDutilh Julie studied at the Radboud University Nijmegen and the Nottingham Trent University, where she obtained a double degree LL.M. European and Insolvency Law/Corporate and Insolvency Law (both with honours). She completed a postgraduate course on finance and security rights at the Grotius Academy in 2022 (with honours).
