RAIF's 3rd anniversary All that you wanted to know on its legal and tax features
Presentation
With already more than 350 reserved alternative investment funds (the "RAIFs") set up since the entry into force of the Luxembourg law on reserved alternative investment funds (the "RAIF Law"), fund managers and investors alike have confirmed their enthusiasm for this new Luxembourg investment fund product. This astounding success is the result of (i) fund managers having been drawn by the unbeatable time-to-market feature offered by RAIFs compared to specialised investment funds (the "SIFs") and risk capital investment companies (the "SICARs") together with proz such as a multi-compartment or standalone structure, tested concepts based on the experience acquired from SIFs and SICARs, attractive tax features, etc and (ii) investors being undeniably fond of the protection offered by RAIFs as they must - by law - be managed by a fully regulated alternative investment fund manager (the "AIFM").
In honour of its fast approaching third anniversary, it is proposed to a public of private practitioners, in-house counsels, fund managers, board members, compliance officers, auditors and the like, to delve deeply into the following matters which are still too often misunderstood.
Attendees will be trained (and entertained for the space of one afternoon) by renown legal practitioners taking the time to share their knowledge and experiences on the above subjects.
