Geert Raaijmakers has been appointed Professor of Corporate and Securities Law at the VU University of Amsterdam with effect from September 1. In his research and teaching, he will focus in particular on corporate governance and corporate finance, including company financing, public and private M&A transactions, anti-takeover devices, shareholder activism and the securities law rules to which listed companies are subject such as those relating to market abuse and market supervision by the AFM.
