Last year, Leo and Stefan led the NautaDutilh teams involved in announced transactions with a combined deal value of more than £25 billion (almost 30 billion euro).
In their practice, Leo and Stefan focus on public M&A deals. In 2020, among other things, they led the NautaDutilh teams advising Grubhub on its merger with Just Eat Takeaway.com, Sanofi on its public offer for Kiadis Pharma, Mr. Drahi on the take-private of Altice Europe and the Peugeot family on the formation of Stellantis. "Looking back, we saw optimism return quickly after the initial shock of Covid-19. Clients quickly adapted to the new reality, deals came back to life and new transactions were initiated, especially in the third and fourth quarter", says Stefan. "2021 has gotten off to an equally busy start with a well-filled pipeline that includes IPOs, SPACs and M&A activity. There is a lot of money in the market and, with the advent of a widely available vaccine, the prospect of a gradual return to normalcy", adds Leo.
