Stan Brijs is gespecialiseerd in nationale en internationale procesvoering. Zijn brede praktijk en ervaring omvatten geschillen rond insolventie, (grensoverschrijdende) executie van vonnissen en arbitrale sententies, vennootschapsconflicten, productaansprakelijkheid, kort geding, verzekeringen en handelsgeschillen in het algemeen. Stan maakt deel uit van het NautaDutilh class action team en heeft zich gespecialiseerd in het snel groeiende domein van massaschade. Tot zijn cliënten behoren internationale financiële instellingen en beursgenoteerde bedrijven.

Stan studeerde in 1993 af aan de Katholieke Universiteit Leuven en in 1995 aan de University of Chicago (Master of Laws). Van 1996 tot 1999 was hij adviseur op het kabinet van de Minister van Justitie.

Stan publiceert regelmatig bijdragen m.b.t. insolventie, executie en procesrecht. Hij heeft in deze rechtsdomeinen gedoceerd als assistent in het Instituut voor Insolventierecht van de KULeuven, waarvan hij nog steeds lid is. Hij vervoegde NautaDutilh in 2003 en werd partner in 2007.
