Anne behaalde in 1990 met grote onderscheiding haar diploma rechten aan de universiteit van Leuven (Université Catholique de Louvain, UCL). In 1991 behaalde zij een postgraduaatdiploma Internationaal Recht aan de Universiteit van Leiden. In januari 2003 werd zij vennoot bij NautaDutilh.
