Twan Hamers is werkzaam als advocaat binnen de NautaDutilh Capital Markets Group. Hij specialiseert zich in bank- en effectenrecht, met een focus op zowel equity capital markets (ECM) als debt capital markets (DCM).

Recent was Twan betrokken bij de advisering van:

  • Vivoryon with its listing of shares on Euronext Amsterdam by way of an EU Recovery Prospectus pursuant to a private placement (2022).
  • Mercedes-Benz with its issuance of multiple tranches of CNY-denominated Panda bonds totalling CNY 6.5 billion. Mercedes-Benz became the first multinational company and the first automotive company to issue a green Panda bond in China. It was also Mercedes-Benz's first green bond outside of the European market (2022).
  • GlaxoSmithKline with the update of its GBP 20 billion EMTN Programme and the issuance of two series of notes of EUR 700 million and EUR 500 million under this programme (2022).
  • EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg with the issuance of two tranches of green bonds of EUR 500 million each (2022) and the issuance of two tranches of bonds of EUR 750 million and EUR 500 million (2023).
  • H&M with the yearly update of their EUR 2 billion EMTN Programme.
  • The initial purchasers with the issuance of notes of Mondelez International with an aggregated principal amount of USD 500 million (2022).

Meer over Twan

Twan behaalde zijn bachelor Rechtsgeleerdheid aan de Universiteit van Utrecht en heeft hierna gestudeerd aan de Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, waar hij in 2021 de masteropleiding Ondernemingsrecht (LL.M. Ondernemingsrecht aan de Zuidas) cum laude heeft afgerond.

Twan is sinds november 2021 in dienst bij NautaDutilh en is toegelaten tot de Amsterdamse Orde van Advocaten.
