Sascha Roozendaal specialises in banking and finance law and is part of NautaDutilh's Structured Finance team. Sascha’s practice focuses on structured finance, including covered bond transactions, securitisations and asset-based financing. She has further experience with both debt capital markets (DCM) transactions and equity capital markets (ECM).

She worked with and acted, among others, for NIBC Bank, MeDirect Bank, de Volksbank and Achmea Bank in setting up securitisations. She was also involved in the setting up and updating of covered bond programs of Nationale-Nederlanden Bank, Rabobank, de Volksbank, NIBC Bank, Achmea Bank and Van Lanschot Kempen.

Sascha studied at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Ghent. Sascha joined NautaDutilh in 2015 and is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar Association.

    Nationale-Nederlanden Bank on a variety of covered bond transactions, including the set-up of its Soft Bullet Covered Bond Programme, the first issue of Green Covered Bonds in the Netherlands and consent solicitation for the transfer of all outstanding CPT Covered Bonds to the Soft Bullet Programme.

    Achmea Bank on a variety of transactions, including the set-up of its Conditional Pass-Through Covered Bond Programme and its Soft Bullet Covered Bond Programme, the updating of its EMTN programme, the set-up of the SRMP securitisation and recently Achmea Bank's accession to the MUNT Hypotheken platform.

    de Volksbank on its EUR 8 billion securitisation transaction and MeDirect in setting up all three of its securitisation transactions.
