Laurens advises banks, financial institutions and corporate clients in both domestic and cross-border financing transactions. Before that, Laurens was a lawyer specialising in administrative law, also at NautaDutilh. Because of this combination, he has experience in litigating, high-quality advising and working on financing transactions.

During his university studies, Laurens won the 2018 national moot court, organised by the Dutch Administrative Law Association (VAR).

Laurens was sworn in as a lawyer at the Court of Rotterdam in February 2020. In that same month, he officially joined NautaDutilh.
