Bart Vis is a seasoned legal professional with expertise in public law, environmental law, and nature protection law. He advises and litigates on complex permitting procedures and administrative enforcement disputes. Bart is a counsel in our Public Law & Regulatory practice.
Bart has 15 years of experience in the energy sector and advised on the realisation and operation of many wind projects, hydrogen projects, solar projects, power plants, biomass installations and waste-to-energy projects. In the infrastructure sector, he has been involved in the development of several road projects and water infrastructure projects.
Bart graduated from Maastricht University in 2008. Before joining NautaDutilh on 1 October 2023, he worked at the judiciary as a trainee judge. Bart is an appointed lecturer on public law at The Law Firm School and is regularly invited as a guest lecturer at several institutions.
