Katrien Antonis

Her focus is on real estate transactions, both asset and share deals, including legal due diligence, legal structuring of transactions, drafting of transaction documentation, assistance with negotiations, signing, closing and post-closing, as well as on real estate law in the broadest sense (long-term lease rights, building rights, easements, etc.) were she advises various actors in the real estate sector (real estate investors, real estate developers, general contractors, public authorities etc.) with the realisation of logistic, commercial and residential real estate projects.

Katrien also has extensive expertise in the structuring of green energy projects and in lease law, mainly regarding office lease agreements, VAT lease agreements and commercial lease agreements.

Katrien studied at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) where she obtained both her Master’s degree in Law as a complementary Master’s degree (LLM) in Notary Law.

Prior to joining our firm in 2024, Katrien worked as a managing associate in an international law firm. She was admitted to the Brussels bar in 2017.

Katrien's mother tongue is Dutch and she is also fluent in English and French.
