Maarten Klaassen

Maarten Klaassen works as a lawyer within the Dispute Resolution practice group. He advises and litigates for both Dutch and international clients in the areas of corporate and contract law, with a particular focus on corporate governance and corporate structuring. Maarten is involved in complex corporate disputes, including inquiry and directors' liability proceedings. Additionally, Maarten has extensive experience in disputes concerning non-contractual liability and WAMCA proceedings.
Prior to joining the Dispute Resolution practice group, Maarten worked in the Corporate M&A department, where he focused on corporate governance issues. Furthermore, Maarten advised Dutch and international clients on both national and cross-border mergers, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
