Gijs Katgert

Portrait of Gijs

Gijs Katgert works as a lawyer in the Financial Litigation department (part of Civil Law). He litigates on behalf of banks, financial institutions and companies in both domestic and cross-border disputes and advises on commercial contract law, insurance law and (banking) liability law. Previously, Gijs worked in the Financial Law practice group, where he advised financial institutions on financial (supervisory) law in a broad sense.

Gijs joined NautaDutilh in 2023. He is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar Association.

  • Qualifications

    Gijs obtained his bachelor's degree in Dutch law (specialising in International Business Law) from Leiden University. Gijs graduated from Leiden University in 2023, where he obtained his master's degree in Financial Law with honours.
