Maarten Klaassen works as an attorney-at-law and is a member of NautaDutilh's Corporate M&A team in Amsterdam. He specialises in corporate law and advises Dutch and international clients on both national and cross-border mergers, joint-ventures and acquisitions. He also advises clients in relation to general contractual and commercial issues as well as corporate governance matters.

Maarten studied at Utrecht University, where he completed his master's degree in Company Law in 2019 cum laude. In 2021 he obtained a master's degree in Financial Management.

Maarten joined NautaDutilh in 2021 and was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar.
